Cause of fire at former DPHSS building remains under investigation

"I don't have the exact amount at this time. In terms of the response, operations took approximately six hours. Due to the size of the structure and heavy smoke conditions throughout the building, crews had to conduct extensive searches across multiple floors and rooms to ensure no occupants remained inside," GFD Spokesperson Nick Garrido said.

Administration rejects Moylan's claim that nothing has been done to address abandoned vehicles

"Friday, Aug. 28 was the 240th day of the calendar year and day 331 of the fiscal year. Numbers don’t lie and by any math or measure, other than Doug Moylan’s, there are abandoned vehicles being removed from public and private spaces from Yigo to Merizo at a rate of 1.5 to 2.09 a day, every day, all year long including weekends and holidays," the administration said.
