Residents in Agana Heights and Sinajana no longer need to stay indoors, according to Guam Police Department spokesperson Norman Analista, who said the earlier advisory was issued "out of an abundance of caution."

Though the advisory is lifted, Analista encouraged residents in the areas and in general to "stay alert."

The community was advised against contacting, confronting, or approaching any suspicious individuals, instead call 911 immediately.

Earlier police said two separate robberies in Tamuning and Tumon are being investigated. Authorities believe the "same suspects" were involved but were working to determine the number of suspects and their descriptions.

The Tamuning incident was reported at 10:50 a.m., Monday involving an alleged purse-snatching in a retail store. The Tumon incident was reported ten minutes later at 11 a.m. at a game-room. In the latter, the suspect allegedly "pointed a gun at the attendant then fled." Police were unable to disclose how much money, if any, the suspect fled with.
