The Department of Youth Affairs will accept applications for the childcare component of the 2026 Governor’s Summer Youth Employment Program from May 8 through May 15, officials announced Tuesday.

Applications will be accepted in person Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at designated Youth Resource Centers in Dededo, Mangilao and Hågat. Applicants must submit forms at the same location where they originally obtained their application.

DYA officials said childcare applications were initially distributed in March and include a control number recorded in the agency’s log. Submissions during the May 8–15 window must match the logged applicant information or they will be rejected.

Applicants are required to submit a complete packet that includes identification, authorization forms and a completed Health Certificate Application. Officials advised applicants to review all documents in advance to avoid delays.

The summer childcare program is scheduled to run from June 15 to July 24.

Applications are being accepted at the following locations: the Lågu Youth Resource Center in Dededo, the Kåttan Youth Resource Center in Mangilao and the Håya Youth Resource Center in Hågat.
