The Department of Youth Affairs (DYA) announced that applications for the childcare component of the 2026 Governor’s Summer Youth Employment Program (GSYEP) will be available starting 8 a.m., March 17.
The program is open to 15–17-year-olds interested in working at daycare centers, summer camps, and other childcare organizations. Job duties include greeting children and parents, assisting with playtime, filing, light cleaning, and other support tasks.
Applications will be available in person only at the following DYA Youth Resource Centers:
- Lågu Youth Resource Center, 143 Catalina Ln., Dededo (Across Maria Ulloa Elementary School). Phone: (671) 635-4392/3.
- Kåttan Youth Resource Center, 228 Teresita St., Mangilao (Behind DYA’s main compound). Phone: (671) 477-9557/8.
- Håya Youth Resource Center, 321 Calle De Los Marteres, Hågat (Across Hågat Church). Phone: (671) 565-5031/2.
Applicants must submit forms in person at the same center where they obtained the application, between April 17 and April 24, 2026 (weekends excluded). Required documents include: a copy of the applicant’s photo ID, parent/legal guardian’s photo ID, and the applicant’s Social Security card.
