Dr. Judith Won Pat, the newly appointed Superintendent of Education for the Guam Department of Education, today announced her senior management team. She stated that this team will focus on transparency, accountability, and data-driven policies to restore public trust in the GDOE.
The four Deputy Superintendents are:
- Franklin Leon Guerrero, Deputy Superintendent of Finance and Administrative Services
- Jackie Quitugua, Deputy Superintendent of School and Community Learning
- Dr. Rizalina Liwag, Deputy Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction
- Dr. Julie Ulloa-Heath, Deputy Superintendent of Assessment and Accountability
“This dynamic team brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and innovative thinking to GDOE,” said Dr. Won Pat. “Each member's unique background enriches the department's capacity to meet the diverse needs of students and the community. Their collective focus on accountability, student-centered practices, and community engagement positions the department for significant progress and transformation."
She added, "We have a tremendous opportunity to reshape the educational landscape within GDOE. Our commitment to prioritizing children's needs reflects a belief that every decision made in GDOE should benefit students' overall development."
