Guam’s top four high school mock trial teams are gearing up for the final rounds of the 2025 Guam High School Mock Trial Competition, with semifinals beginning tonight at the District Court of Guam.

After weeks of building cases, delivering arguments, and refining courtroom strategies, the semifinalists will compete at 5:30 p.m. today, Dec. 2, for a chance to advance to the championship round.

The finals are scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 5:30 p.m. in the Supreme Court of Guam, where the two remaining teams will face off in a high-stakes, courtroom-style showdown. The public is encouraged to attend, and the championship will also stream live on the Judiciary’s YouTube channel.

The annual competition is hosted by the Judiciary of Guam in partnership with the District Court of Guam, the Guam Bar Association, and the Guam Department of Education. Organizers say the event helps students develop civic awareness, legal knowledge, and confidence through hands-on learning.
