The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) announced that distribution of 2025 Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (S-EBT) cards will begin Friday, September 12, at Micronesia Mall in Dededo. Eligible families identified by the Guam Department of Education (GDOE) can pick up new or replacement cards and resolve related issues during scheduled distribution hours.
Card distribution will run weekdays from 3 to 7 p.m. on September 12 and September 15–19, and weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on September 13–14 and September 20–21. Early line cutoffs may occur depending on demand. Existing cardholders will have benefits automatically loaded on September 12, though those with issues must visit the site.
Each eligible child will receive a one-time benefit of $177, which expires January 12, 2026. Eligibility includes children enrolled in a school participating in the National School Lunch or School Breakfast Program during the past school year, as well as SNAP or TANF participants ages 5–18. DPHSS reminded families that benefits cannot be duplicated across states or households, and that one card per student will be issued. Parents or guardians must present valid photo identification to receive benefits, with Power of Attorney and custody documents verified against GDOE records.
DPHSS Director Theresa Arriola emphasized that the federally funded program, administered locally in partnership with GDOE, is designed to support food security for Guam’s children.
