The Science Is Fun and Awesome Learning Academy Charter School, or SIFA LACS, confirmed that Lawrence Quinto, a now-former teacher, is no longer employed by the academy following allegations of misconduct.
In a statement released November 7, SIFA LACS noted that the alleged misconduct did not occur on campus or inside the school premises. The former employee was removed from the campus by local law enforcement officials.
The statement read: “He is no longer employed with SIFA LACS as of today, (November 7).”
SIFA LACS takes all allegations of misconduct seriously and assures the public that school officials will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement, a statement read. The academy is committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment for all students.
