The search for Guam Police Department Officer Peter A. Pascua ended early Monday after authorities located him near the Ukudu Power Plant in Dededo at approximately 12:25 a.m., Nov. 2.

GPD spokesperson Norman Analista said Pascua was in “good health.”

The department had asked the public for assistance Sunday night after officers at Tumon Precinct were unable to reach Pascua by radio or phone for several hours.

“Around 9:40 p.m. this evening, GPD had asked the community for assistance in locating Officer Pascua. Officer Pascua had called in all secure via radio, but Tumon precinct had been unable to contact him via radio or phone as of 6 p.m.,” Analista said.

When police issued the initial advisory, Pascua was last seen at approximately 3:06 p.m. Sunday traveling eastbound along Routes 1 and 4 toward Tamuning in a 2025 Dodge Durango police patrol vehicle, No. 25-118, bearing license plate 7972.

No additional information about the circumstances surrounding the incident was available for release, according to GPD.

The department thanked the Guam Fire Department, Guam Customs and Quarantine Agency, Homeland Security Investigations and members of the community for their assistance.
