The Committee on Health and Veterans Affairs will have a public hearing on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
On the agenda are two measures:
- Doc. No. 38GL-25-0979 – The appointment of Julienne R. Duenas, PT, DPT as the Physical Therapy Representative on the Guam Board of Allied Health Examiners.
- Doc. No. 38GL-25-1033 – The new GMH fee package submitted on June 19, 2025.
The public is encouraged to provide input during the hearing. Written testimony may be submitted in advance to the Office of Senator Sabrina Salas Matanane either at the Guam Congress Building in Hagåtña or by email at office.senatorbri@guamlegislature.gov. Testimonies should be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the hearing.
Community members may also confirm their attendance by contacting the senator’s office at (671) 989-2572. Those requiring special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act are advised to reach out to Committee Director Annie San Nicolas for assistance.
The hearing will be televised live on GTA Channel 21 and Docomo Channel 117, and will also be streamed via the Guam Legislature’s YouTube channel. A recording will be available afterward on Guam Legislature Media on YouTube.
