The Guam Police Department confirmed responding to a Route 9 by Machanaonao Elementary School in Yigo for a reported auto-school bus collision at around 7 a.m.
According to police 46 students were aboard the Department of Public Work's school bus, none were injured.
"No medics or a wrecker was needed. HPD investigated the crash. The operator of the auto was found to be in violation of failure to yield right of way to the bus," GPD said at 11:22 a.m.
Less than 15 minutes earlier, Guam Department of Education Spokesperson Damen Michael Borja said, "currently assessments of all are still being conducted."
He said more information would be provided as available.
As of publication, GDOE did not respond to inquiries regarding whether parents or guardians of the students involved were informed.
