Breaking News: Governor Announces Additional Government of Guam Holidays
In a video circulating widely on social media today, December 19, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero (D-Guam) announced additional holidays for the government of Guam.
The new proposed holidays are December 24, December 26, 2025, and January 2, 2026. These would be in addition to the existing holidays of Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, and New Year’s Day, January 1, 2026.
This announcement is pending official confirmation and the issuance of an Executive Order.
