The Guam Department of Education announced the schedule for upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences at all public elementary schools, providing families an opportunity to review student progress, discuss academic goals and explore ways to support learning. There will be no classes on the day of the conferences, the department said.
The conferences are scheduled for Jan. 16, 2026, for all elementary schools and Head Start programs.
Conference times will vary by school. Among them, Adacao Elementary School will hold conferences from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Astumbo Elementary from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Captain Henry B. Price Elementary from 7 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; Carlos L. Taitano Elementary from 7 a.m. to noon; and Juan M. Guerrero Elementary from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Additional schools including Tamuning, Upi and Wettengel elementary schools will conduct conferences from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Each school has scheduled specific break and lunch periods following their respective sessions.
The Department of Education encouraged parents and guardians to participate, emphasizing the importance of family involvement in student success.
