The Guam Department of Education (GDOE) has announced the schedule for its upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs), which begin next week on Oct. 22, 2025. The department reminds parents and guardians that there will be no classes for students on their school’s respective conference day.

Superintendent of Education Kenneth Erik Swanson encouraged families to take advantage of the opportunity to meet teachers and discuss their child’s academic progress. “Family engagement is essential to student success,” Swanson said. “These conferences help strengthen the partnership between home and school, allowing parents to better understand their child’s learning environment and how to best support their educational goals.”

Elementary schools and Head Start centers will hold conferences on Oct. 22, followed by middle schools on Oct. 23, and high schools on Oct. 24. Start and end times vary by campus, with most sessions scheduled from morning through early afternoon. Individual school administrations will share additional details directly with families.
