The Guam Department of Education has announced school orientation schedules of elementary, middle and high schools for school year 2026-2027 through a series of releases on Monday.
The orientations welcome new and returning students and their families back to campuses across Guam, according to GDOE which issued a orientation calendar for elementary and secondary grade levels.
High Schools kick off first with Tiyan High School on July 23, Simon Sanchez High School on July 28-29, George Washington High School on July 29, Southern High school on July 30, John F. Kennedy High School on August 3, and Okkodo High School on August 4.
GDOE did note that the Okkodu orientation "due to gym floor restoration, may shift to online."
Middle schools began hosting orientations last week namely Benavente Middle Schoo and Jose Rios Middle School on July 22, Untalan Middle School on July 23–24, Agueda I. Johnston and Oceanview on July 24. Astumbo Middle School is scheduled on July 29, Inalahan Middle School on July 30, and F.B. Leon Guerrero Middle School is set for August 3.
Elementary schools have the widest spread, July 24 through August 5, across all 24 campuses. Kindergarten and new-student sessions generally run earlier in the morning, with returning or upper-grade (1st–5th) students following later the same day or on a separate date.
