The Guam Department of Education is accepting applications for its Universal Pre-Kindergarten program for School Year 2026-27 at four participating elementary schools.

The program is open to children who were 4 years old by July 31, 2026, or who were born between Aug. 1, 2021, and July 31, 2022.

“To determine student participation, a lottery may be conducted. If a lottery is required, details will be provided by the participating school,” GDOE said. “Please note that students residing within the school’s attendance area will be given priority; however, out-of-district applications may be considered if space remains after the open enrollment period.”

The participating schools are:

  • Finegayan Elementary School

  • J.Q. San Miguel Elementary School

  • Tamuning Elementary School

  • Talo’fo’fo Elementary School

“Families from the above school districts may submit their applications to their respective school site,” GDOE said.

Applicants must provide proof of residency and a birth certificate or passport to verify the child's age.

Applications are available at participating schools and through GDOE's official website.

The application deadline is Oct. 23.
