Finegayan Elementary School will return to regular school operations Friday after the successful repair of its main water line, according to the Guam Department of Education.
In a statement released Jan. 8, GDOE said the issue was addressed promptly to ensure the safety, sanitation and comfort of students and staff. With water service now fully restored, the school will reopen on its normal schedule.
The department thanked parents, students, faculty and the surrounding community for their patience and understanding during the repair period. GDOE said it remains committed to maintaining safe and functional learning environments across the public school system and will continue monitoring facilities to address issues as they arise.
