Speaker Frank Blas, Jr. and his wife, Tillie, extended their condolences to the family of former Yigo Mayor Antonio A. Calvo, who recently died.
In a statement, Speaker Blas reflected on Calvo’s long record of public service and dedication to the people of Yigo. “Mayor Calvo dedicated much of his life to serving the people of Yigo and to improving the community he loved,” Blas said. “His years of leadership and his genuine care for the people of Yigo will be remembered with great respect and immense gratitude.”
Blas and his wife offered their prayers for Calvo’s family, expressing hope that they find comfort in the lasting impact of his kindness and commitment to others.
“Speaker and Mrs. Blas join the island community in honoring the life and legacy of Mayor Calvo and offer their thoughts and prayers to his family during this difficult time,” the statement concluded.
