The Women in Aviation International (WAI) Guam Chapter, in partnership with the Business Technology Academy Charter School (BTACS) and Aire Services, hosted the Wings in Paradise Aviation Open House Preview and Opening Ceremonies on Saturday at the Asia Pacific Airlines Hangar in Tiyan.
Organizers say the open house aims to promote greater awareness of aviation careers, education pathways, and the industry’s contribution to Guam’s economy. Presenters included WAI Guam Chapter, BTACS, Aire Services, and Asia Pacific Airlines, with participation from students, educators, and aviation professionals.
Attendees participated in a range of interactive exhibits, aircraft displays, and live demonstrations designed to inspire interest in aviation and highlight its role in workforce development and tourism.
