The Tumon Bay Music Festival will return to Guam for its 21st year from Feb. 26 to March 7, organizers announced, promising a wide-ranging celebration of music, culture and education across multiple island venues.
Presented by the Guam Philharmonic Foundation and the Guam Territorial Band, the festival is described as the region’s largest musical event and will feature local and international performers representing genres including rock, jazz and traditional choral and instrumental repertoire.
Organizers said the event will include appearances by soloists and ensembles designed to offer “an unforgettable experience for music lovers of all ages.” In addition to performances, the festival will host clinics and workshops aimed at expanding music education and engagement.
The Guam Philharmonic Foundation, established in 2017, said its mission is to advance music and arts education for youth and adults throughout Guam and Micronesia while presenting innovative programming that showcases local and internationally recognized artists.
