Jay B. Jones, executive vice president of Triple J Enterprises, has been named the 2025 Guam Business Magazine Executive of the Year during an awards reception held Jan. 24 at the Hyatt Regency Guam.
Jones, a Guam native, was recognized for a career marked by leadership in operations, management and regional expansion. After earning a bachelor’s degree from Elon University, Jones returned to Guam to begin his professional career with Triple J Enterprises, where he advanced through nearly every level of the company.
His experience spans multiple areas of operations, and he later completed the National Automobile Dealers Association Dealer Candidate Academy. Jones’ leadership responsibilities expanded to the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, where he served as vice president of Triple J Saipan Inc.
While in Saipan, Jones was president of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce and was named Business Person of the Year by the chamber.
Jones has also been active in community service, holding leadership roles with several nonprofit and industry organizations, including Make-A-Wish Guam & CNMI, the Guam Automobile Dealers Association, the Guam Motorsports Association, the Guam Cycling Federation, and the Father Duenas Memorial School Endowment Foundation.
He was selected from a field of six finalists. Other nominees included Christine A. Won Pat Baleto of Docomo Pacific; Christopher K. Felix of Century 21 Realty Management; Michelle Kramer of Pacific International Inc. and honorary consul of the Marshall Islands to Guam; Tae S. Oh of Alupang Apartments, Vantage Advertising and PSI Holdings; and Saied Safabaksh of Pacific Medical Group, The Village and Guam Dialysis Centers.
