The 4th Annual Governor’s Holiday Light Festival Parade will return to Skinner Plaza on Dec. 17, inviting residents to celebrate the season under this year’s theme, “Håfa Adai Holidays – Christmas in Paradise.” The parade is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with holiday vendors open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Now in its fourth year, the event has grown into a signature tradition of the Leon Guerrero–Tenorio administration, drawing families, agencies, and community groups to the capital. Attendees can expect festive floats, marchers, decorated vehicles, and a plaza filled with lights, music, and locally made goods.
Governor Lou Leon Guerrero said the parade has become one of her favorite holiday traditions, noting its role in bringing families together and filling the capital with cheer. Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio added that the event showcases the creativity and teamwork of the island’s residents, calling it a highlight of Guam’s holiday season.
