The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) is encouraging local tourism businesses, particularly optional tour operators, to join or renew their membership ahead of a major promotional campaign in Korea set to begin this month. The initiative aims to capitalize on rising interest from Korean free independent travelers (FITs) seeking unique experiences in Guam.

The upcoming campaign will feature promotions across digital platforms, including social media, websites, co-op advertisements, influencer content, and dedicated microsites. However, GVB noted that only current members will be eligible to participate. Businesses that join or renew their membership will also have access to a new set of benefits for 2026, including collaboration opportunities and direct engagement in GVB’s marketing initiatives.

“Our members are the backbone of Guam’s tourism success,” said GVB President and CEO Régine Biscoe Lee. “This is also a unique opportunity for local operators, especially small businesses, to gain visibility and connect directly with travelers planning their next trip to Guam.”

GVB officials emphasized that tour operators who act quickly can be included in the first wave of promotions, as content is currently being collected. Interested businesses can apply online at visitguam.com or contact GVB staff directly for membership and promotional participation details.
