The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) has launched an interactive Guam Photo Hunt to encourage island residents and visitors to "rediscover the island" this summer.

GVB said the goal of the digital campaign is to celebrate Guam's natural beauty, culture, local businesses and hidden gems.

"The Guam Photo Hunt is an invitation to our community to see Guam with fresh eyes and rediscover the places, people, and experiences that make our island special," GVB President and CEO Régine Biscoe Lee said.

To participate, register online at visitguam.com/photohunt, review the photo guide and visit featured locations across Guam — such as 1000 Steps, Pagat Caves and San Carlos Falls — to capture and submit your experience.

GVB will hold weekly prize drawings. To be eligible, participants must take photos at designated milestones such as landmarks, historical signage or local culinary dishes and share them on a public Instagram feed using the hashtag #guamphotohunt2026 while following @visitguamusa. Instagram Stories do not qualify, and all participants must be 18 or older. Each eligible post counts toward a participant's progress and serves as an entry into weekly prize drawings by local businesses and community partners.

"For Guam residents, each post serves as an entry into weekly prize drawings by local businesses and community partners. Residents may win one weekly prize per month, for a maximum of three weekly prizes throughout the campaign," GVB said.

Participants who complete 25 locations qualify for the grand prize drawing; those who complete 30 locations receive an additional entry.

"One lucky participating resident will win a round-trip ticket to Taiwan, while one lucky participating international visitor will receive a round-trip ticket to Guam," GVB said.

GVB Director of Global Marketing Nadine Leon Guerrero said the campaign taps into authentic experiences, shareable moments and recommendations from "real people."

"Every photo posted helps build a growing collection of authentic Guam stories that can inspire future visitors and foster greater appreciation for the destinations and businesses within our community," Leon Guerrero said.

The Guam Photo Hunt runs through Sept. 30.
