The Guam Visitors Bureau has appointed Frank P. Arriola as its new deputy general manager and vice president, effective March 2.
Arriola will succeed Gerry Perez, who is retiring after years of service with the bureau, according to a news release issued Thursday.
The appointment was approved through Resolution No. 2026-01 during the GVB Board of Directors meeting on Feb. 26, endorsing President and CEO Regine Biscoe Lee’s selection of Arriola.
Arriola brings more than two decades of private-sector leadership experience across aviation, commercial real estate, insurance, renewable energy, retail and education, the release stated. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Guam Community College.
According to GVB, Arriola has led startups, stabilized underperforming organizations and managed multimillion-dollar growth initiatives in Guam.
“The GVB staff and management is excited to welcome Mr. Arriola to the GVB executive team,” Lee said in a statement. “His valuable leadership experience and strategic insights will help us to continue our mission to promote and enhance Guam’s visitor industry.”
The bureau also expressed gratitude to Perez for his tenure as vice president, citing his leadership and innovation in guiding Guam’s tourism industry through challenges and growth.
GVB officials wished Perez a “well-deserved, happy, and fulfilling retirement,” according to the release.
