Rockit Ride, Guam's first rhythm-based indoor cycling and strength and conditioning studio is beginning a new chapter of fitness under the leadership of Phoebe Guerrero who was recently named general manager.
A Rockit Ride release described Guerrero as one of their own, sharing that she has been part of the Rockit Ride's community for four years.
"What began as a connection to the studio has grown into a leadership role that will now put her at the center of its day-to-day operations and future direction," Rockit Ride said. "Her promotion also represents something important to Rockit Ride's next chapter — investing not only in the business, but in local talent and the people who already understand what makes the community special."
Guerrero said the opportunity is special because of her connection to the Rockit Ride community.
As general manager, Guerrero will build on the foundation established by the Rockit Ride team.
"Rather than changing what members love about the studio, the focus will be on strengthening it — supporting instructors and staff, improving the member experience, expanding community engagement, and creating new opportunities for the brand to grow," the release said.
Guerrero stressed that while she will move to strengthen the studio through new opportunities, maintaining Rockit Ride's identity is equally important.
"We know what makes Rockit Ride special, and we're not trying to reinvent that," Guerrero added. "We want to build on it. There's a lot of energy behind what's coming, and I'm excited for our members to experience it with us."
She said members can expect the "same signature dark-room, music-driven rides and high-energy strength & conditioning classes, along with future studio enhancements, community events and new initiatives that will be announced in the months ahead."
According to Rockit Ride, the leadership change will not impact current class schedules or offerings during the transition.
