Guam has been named the #1 Best Shore Diving Destination in the Pacific, Indian and Mediterranean region, according to Scuba Diving Magazine’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards. The recognition comes from a global survey of divers who rated destinations they visited in the last two years. Scuba Diving Magazine, the official publication of PADI, reaches 2.4 million readers across print and digital platforms.
In addition to topping the shore diving category, Guam placed Top 10 in several others, including #8 Best Overall Destination and high marks in beginner diving, snorkeling, macro life, cave and cavern diving, and wreck diving. The island’s clear waters, vibrant reefs and diverse marine ecosystem continue to draw divers of all skill levels. Among Guam’s signature experiences is the Cormoran–Tokai Maru double wreck, the only dive site in the world where ships from both World Wars rest atop one another, earning Guam a #4 ranking for wreck diving.
