Guam’s lone active Ultimate Fighting Championship athlete, Brogan Walker, will make her return to the Octagon on Oct. 4 at UFC 320 after a two-year hiatus due to injury. Walker is set to face Veronica Hardy at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on a card headlined by Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira defending his title against Magomed Ankalaev.
Walker’s comeback follows an extended rehabilitation process and intensive mental preparation. Training out of Millennia MMA in Corona, California, she has spent the past two years regaining peak condition under a team of elite coaches and training partners. The return marks a significant milestone in her professional career and a personal triumph after enduring one of the toughest stretches of her athletic journey.
“Brogan’s return is not merely a fight—it’s the culmination of discipline, resilience, and elite preparation,” said Lloyd Cubacub, her Guam-based manager. “She continues to embody the pride, strength, and humility of Guam. We believe this performance will further cement her legacy as a global ambassador for the island.”
Respected for her sportsmanship and professionalism, Walker has become a source of inspiration for athletes across the Pacific. Her placement on one of the UFC’s most anticipated events of the year is both a testament to her perseverance and a point of pride for Guam’s sporting community.
