Be Heartfelt is sending 2,400 hygiene kits to Rota to help meet the “immediate needs of children and families affected by the storm.”
Describing Super Typhoon Bavi’s impacts as “devastating,” Be Heartfelt said the donation - made possible through partner Heart to Heart International, with logistics support from Ayuda Foundation and transportation from Pacific Unlimited Trucking - “ensures that families have access to basic necessities during one of their greatest times of need.”
“Recovery doesn’t end when the storm passes,” said Lori Marble, founder and president of Be Heartfelt. “In the days and weeks that follow, families are often left without the basic necessities many of us take for granted. A toothbrush, a bar of soap, or a bottle of shampoo may seem small, but these simple items restore dignity, protect health, and remind people they have not been forgotten. We are deeply grateful to Heart to Heart International, Ayuda Foundation, and Pacific Unlimited Trucking for standing with the people of Rota during this time.”
Be Heartfelt is a nonprofit that has partnered with schools, churches, businesses and volunteers for more than five and a half years to serve vulnerable children and families throughout Micronesia through programs providing weekend meals, hygiene supplies, shoes, school essentials and disaster relief.
