A woman was arrested Thursday evening after a police sergeant on routine patrol found her allegedly holding a glass pipe containing suspected methamphetamine residue, court documents show.
Michelle D.R. Del Rosario, also known as Michelle Del Rosario Del Rosario, was charged Thursday in the Superior Court of Guam with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, a third-degree felony. Prosecutors also noted she committed the alleged offense while on felony release in a separate burglary case.
According to an affidavit of probable cause filed by Assistant Attorney General Valerie A. Nuesa, A Guam Police Officer was on routine patrol in Dededo on April 23 when he spotted a pair of feet protruding from behind a wall near the Dededo Mayor's office. The officer approached on foot and found Del Rosario holding what appeared to be a glass pipe.
Del Rosario confirmed the item was an "ice pipe" and handed it over. The pipe appeared to contain residue of a crystalline substance the officer suspected to be methamphetamines. When Del Rosario stood up, the sergeant observed two small, resealable plastic baggies on the floor that also appeared to contain crystalline residue. A field test yielded a presumptive positive finding for methamphetamines.
Del Rosario was arrested at approximately 8:18 p.m. Court documents note she was on felony release in case CF0224-24, a second-degree burglary charge, at the time of the arrest. A bench warrant had been issued in that case by Presiding Judge Alberto C. Lamorena III on April 10, 2025.
