Victim Advocates Reaching Out has announced its 5th Annual Purple Gala, themed "Bloom in Hope," scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the Zefiro Ballroom at LeoPalace Resort Guam.
The gala is VARO's signature fundraising event, supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse, violent crime and other traumatic events. Funds raised go directly toward advocacy, emergency assistance, outreach and supportive services for individuals and families across Guam.
This year's theme reflects the strength and resilience of survivors as they rebuild after trauma. "Just as flowers bloom after difficult seasons, the theme symbolizes hope, renewal, courage, and the journey toward brighter days," organizers said.
