The third suspect wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a Korean tourist family at the Guam Premier Outlets parking lot was arrested Wednesday morning in Dededo, according to the Guam Police Department.
At about 10:31 a.m., detectives with GPD’s Criminal Investigations Division, along with officers from the Special Operations Division and the Highway Patrol Division, located Jay Boi Elias at a Dededo residence. Police said officers acted on a tip before conducting a check of the home, where Elias was found and taken into custody without incident.
Elias is one of three suspects, implicated as the armed driver in a robbery reported Feb. 6 at the GPO parking lot. Authorities did not immediately release additional details about the potential charges he faces.
Police said more information will be provided as it becomes available.
Jimmy Moses Hadley and Justin Willy were identified as the two other armed gunmen involved in the incident. They were charged with eight offenses related to robbery, aggravated assault, child abuse and conspiracy. They were both confined to the Department of Corrections with bail set at $100,000.
