A day after being apprehended, police announced that Jay Boi Elias was formally arrested Feb. 11 on charges related to the armed robbery of a Korean tourist family in the parking lot of Guam Premier Outlets on Feb. 6.
Police said Elias was implicated as the driver of the getaway vehicle, a red Mazda CX-5. He had been wanted for questioning in connection with the incident and was located nearly a week after a wanted flier was issued. Officers were led to a Dededo residence through a tip.
He was taken into custody without incident, police said.
During the investigation, police learned Elias is also a suspect in other cases, including a terrorizing complaint on Nov. 25, 2025, a retail theft on Nov. 27, 2025, and theft of services for allegedly stealing gas from a station on Jan. 30, 2026.
“Elias stated he didn’t have payment and implied he had a firearm before fleeing in an SUV,” police said regarding the gas station incident.
In addition to the offenses related to the GPO armed robbery, Elias was arrested on two counts of terrorizing, family violence, theft of services and retail theft.
He was booked and confined at the Department of Corrections pending disposition by the Office of the Attorney General.
