The Guam Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred late Sunday night at the Dededo Shell gas station, where a suspect fired multiple rounds before fleeing the scene in a stolen vehicle.
According to police, the incident happened around 11:03 p.m. on Oct. 5, when an unidentified man entered the gas station armed with a rifle and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect fired shots into a cigarette display and toward a back-office door before taking cash from the register and a customer’s car keys. No injuries were reported.
Investigators say the suspect, whose lower face was covered, was wearing a camouflage long-sleeve hooded sweater and red shoes. The stolen vehicle and suspect remain at large. A video of the robbery has been circulating on social media as police continue their investigation.
