Seven people were injured Monday evening after a major crash involving four vehicles and a bus along the southbound lane of Route 1 near Prestige Auto in Yigo, according to the Guam Fire Department. The collision was reported at 6:43 p.m., prompting a multi-unit emergency response.

GFD stated that one male patient was rushed to Guam Regional Medical City in critical condition, where CPR was being administered upon arrival. A female patient was taken to Guam Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, and another male was transported to U.S. Naval Hospital, also with minor injuries.

Four additional individuals involved in the crash were evaluated at the scene but refused medical transport, officials said. Emergency crews remained on-site into the evening as the roadway was partially blocked, and responders worked to clear debris and assess hazards.

Guam Police Department is on scene and advised motorists to expect traffic delays and to seek alternative routes. The incident remains under active investigation. Authorities said more information will be released as it becomes available.

A video circulating on social media depicts the moments after the crash when passing motorist filmed debris scattered along the roadway and individuals trying to open the doors of a flipped vehicle. This is a developing story.
