The Guam Police Department arrested seven individuals in connection with a damaged property incident in Mangilao on October 5.
Units were dispatched to a “Damaged Property” call on Route 15, across from Hawaiian Rock in Mangilao at approximately 10:47 AM on Oct. 5. An officer initially detained three individuals, and upon the arrival of additional units, four more suspects were located and detained on the property. A portion of this incident was recorded and circulated on social media. Two vehicles belonging to the suspects were found to contain stolen items, which have since been relinquished to the owner.
The following six individuals were arrested for theft of property valued over $1,000, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, and conspiracy:
Benjamin Aldan Taitano, 60, Dededo
Carl William Cabrera, 54, Dededo
Laura Sulio Julaton, 28, Dededo
Benjamin Ada Pangelinan, 61, Dededo
Anthony Ada Pangelinan, 60, Dededo
James Ada Pangelinan, 55, Dededo
Additionally, Ryan Ray Santos Sablan, 50, of Dededo, was arrested for theft of property valued over $1,000, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, and resisting arrest.
All suspects have been processed, booked, and confined to the Department of Corrections. Their information has been forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for disposition.
