On Sunday, Guam Fire Department units responded at 6:22 a.m. to a reported motor vehicle collision with serious injuries on Route 1, North Chalan Henry Kaiser in Dededo, officials said.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel located two patients — an adult female and a minor — who were pulseless and not breathing, according to initial information from GFD. CPR was administered at the scene and continued while the patients were transported to Guam Regional Medical City.

The Guam Police Department issued a traffic advisory at 6:50 a.m., stating officers were responding to a two-vehicle crash on Henry Kaiser Road. Northbound lanes in the area were closed as emergency crews worked the scene.

Motorists were advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate routes. Police said additional details would be released as they become available.

This is a developing story.
