Rev and Tax pays out more than $101M in refunds

Guam's Department of Revenue and Taxation (DRT) has paid out more than $101 million in 2025 individual income tax refunds, the agency announced Wednesday, after releasing its twelfth batch of payments.

DRT, working with the Department of Administration, disbursed $8,528,674.28 in the latest batch, covering 3,171 payments — 2,365 paper checks and 806 electronic fund transfers. That brings total 2025 refunds paid to date to $101,059,455.82.

The figures cover tax returns filed on or before March 15, 2026.

The Leon Guerrero-Tenorio administration cast the milestone as part of its ongoing commitment to fiscal responsibility and timely taxpayer refunds.

DRT said it continues processing 2025 returns in the order filed. Citing a surge in return volume, the agency said turnaround time will continue to range between eight and ten weeks.

Taxpayers who owe money and cannot pay in full may contact DRT's Collection Branch to arrange payment options.
