Reports of pocket outages have been received through Guam News Network’s “Guam Alert Hub” an islandwide alert and community that compiles NWS and JIC advisories school closures road conditions along with community submitted reports from villages across the island in a single feed.
It took roughly two hours for GPA to restore power in Malesso following an outage reported at around 4 p.m.
Joyce Sayama, GPA’s Communications Manager confirmed that the power outage affected customers on Feeder P-340 from Humatak towards Malesso Pier.
“Crews remain on site performing necessary repairs to restore power to all remaining customers between Malesso Pier to Barcinas area,” Sayama said.
