The Department of Public Health and Social Services will temporarily limit the issuance of vital certificates to one certified copy per event beginning Tuesday, June 2, due to a delay in replenishing the specialized security paper used to print the records.
DPHSS said the measure is intended to preserve available inventory and allow the Office of Vital Statistics to continue providing certified copies to residents while awaiting additional supplies.
The department thanked the public for its patience and said it will release further updates as they become available.
