The Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) will hold a free pertussis (whooping cough) immunization clinic on Monday, March 30, 2026, in response to the island’s seventh confirmed case of the illness.
The one-day outreach clinic will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (or while supplies last) at the George Washington High School (GWHS) Cafeteria in Mangilao. The event aims to help protect the community against further spread of pertussis by providing critical vaccines to eligible residents.
Eligibility:
Children ages 2 months–18 years who are uninsured or covered by Medicaid or MIP
Adults 19 and older without health insurance
Available Vaccines:
DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis) for infants and young children
Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis) for adolescents and adults
Requirements:
Children under 18: Must bring a birth certificate, current shot record (yellow card), and be accompanied by a parent or authorized adult with photo ID and proper documentation if not a parent.
Adults: Must bring a valid photo ID and current shot record, if available.
Individuals with physical disabilities may present proof for priority accommodation.
