The Department of Public Health and Social Services announced Friday that Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and cash assistance benefits were not successfully issued to Electronic Benefit Transfer cards due to connectivity issues.

DPHSS said the benefits, scheduled to be loaded on Friday, Jan. 23, were delayed as a result of technical problems. The Office of Technology is working to resolve the issue, according to the department.

Clients are advised to check their EBT card balances after 7:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26. Balances may be verified by calling the customer support number on the back of the EBT card or by logging into the EBT Edge mobile app or website.

DPHSS apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the public for its patience.

For additional assistance, clients may contact the Bureau of Economic Security at (671) 300-8853 or (671) 300-8872.
