The Guam Police Department has tentatively identified a man found unresponsive in waters off Inarahan on April 4 as Kevin Ayangco Banico, 31, the man previously reported missing.
According to police, family members provided descriptions of tattoos that are consistent with those observed on the body recovered across from St. Joseph Cemetery. Authorities said the identification remains pending confirmation by the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office.
Banico was reported missing on April 3. Police have since suspended the search but noted the investigation continues.
No further information was released.
