The Guam Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance as detectives continue to investigate the death of Robert Isaac Revels, whose body was discovered a year ago in Yigo. GPD said Revels’ next of kin has been notified and that investigators are pursuing leads and conducting interviews.

According to police, the Dededo Precinct Command received a call around 6:22 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2024, reporting a possible deceased individual at a residence in Yigo. Officers arriving on scene found Revels’ lifeless body. Detectives with GPD’s Criminal Investigations Division assumed control of the case, and representatives from the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office also responded.

An autopsy was performed on Sept. 19, 2024, by then-Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Jeffrey Nine, who determined the preliminary cause and manner of death was blunt force trauma to Revels’ head and neck. Police confirmed that Revels had been staying at the residence with permission, but did not release further details on the circumstances.
