The Guam Police Department is investigating the fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old male minor that occurred late Monday night in Yigo, officials announced Tuesday.
According to preliminary information, Dededo Precinct Command units responded at about 10:21 p.m. Sept. 15 to reports of a stabbing. Police said the victim was being driven by family members but was intercepted by Guam Fire Department personnel along Route 9. He was transported to Guam Regional Medical City, where he was pronounced dead at 11:09 p.m. by Emergency Room physician Dr. Bon-Tramp.
GPD’s Criminal Investigation Division has been activated to lead the probe, and officials said the case remains open. No additional details about the victim or possible suspects have been released.
