The Guam Police Department is investigating the death of an 18-year-old female, the department's spokesperson said Thursday.

Officers responded to a residence in Mangilao at about 1:42 p.m. Wednesday, where they met with medical personnel who confirmed the female had no pulse and was not breathing, according to GPD spokesperson Norman Analista.

The case has been forwarded to the department’s Criminal Investigation Division, and the Chief Medical Examiner’s report is pending.

No further information is being released at this time, police said.

This is a developing story.
