The Guam Police Department confirmed the arrest of Ricky Benavente Fergurgur Jr., a suspect named in a first-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) case.

Fergurgur, 32, turned himself in to the Tumon-Tamuning Precinct at about 8:10 p.m. June 25, according to GPD.

The arrest was announced on June 26, following issuance of a wanted person flyer naming Fergurgur as a suspect in the CSC case on June 24.

The same flyer said he was also wanted in connection with an armed robbery reported at the Mobil gas station in East Agana during the early morning hours of June 24.

GPD said it could not discuss details of the "ongoing" investigation but confirmed Fergurgur was arrested only in connection with the CSC case. He has not been arrested or charged in the armed robbery case.

Fergurgur was processed, booked and confined at the Department of Corrections, where he awaits the Attorney General's disposition of the case.
