A Pacific Islands Club (PIC) employee has been arrested and charged with criminal voyeurism after allegedly recording inside a restroom stall occupied by a tourist and his young daughter earlier this month, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed by the Office of the Attorney General of Guam.
The affidavit states that on October 6, Guam police responded to a harassment complaint at PIC in Tumon after a South Korean tourist identified as the father, reported hearing a camera shutter sound while accompanying his 4-year-old daughter in the men’s restroom. The father reportedly confronted the individual in the adjacent stall, identified as PIC employee Noah-Jay Austin Blas, and brought him to the hotel’s front desk for questioning.
According to the report, officers initially found no relevant photos or videos when Blas consented to a phone search. However, during a follow-up interview on October 16, Blas admitted to recording the adjacent stall with his phone, reviewing the footage, and deleting it after realizing a child was visible in the video. Blas told investigators he had previously recorded men in restrooms for sexual gratification, the affidavit said.
Blas, 20, was arrested at approximately 4:51 p.m. and charged with Criminal Voyeurism, a third-degree felony under Guam law. The Guam Police Department confiscated his phone as evidence, and a search warrant is being sought for potential deleted material. He was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond on Saturday by Magistrate Sean Brown.
