A man died late Friday night after being struck by a vehicle along Route 10 in front of Payless Mangilao, according to the Guam Fire Department.
GFD reported that units were dispatched at 11:17 p.m. to the auto-pedestrian incident. When emergency personnel arrived, they found a male victim with serious injuries.
Officials said that due to the extent of the man’s injuries, no life-saving interventions were attempted. Medical control was consulted, and measures were ceased in line with GFD medical protocol.
The Guam Police Department has not released the identity of the victim. Further details on the incident, including the driver’s condition and the cause of the crash, were not immediately available.
