One man is dead and three other people injured in a three-vehicle collision early Saturday on Carnation Road in Latte Heights, the Guam Fire Department reported.
GFD units responded at approximately 5:22 a.m. to find three vehicles involved, two of them on fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames and began treating four patients — three adult males and one adult female.
The male driver of a sedan was found without a pulse and not breathing. Paramedics began CPR but discontinued resuscitative efforts in consultation with Medical Control due to the severity of his injuries.
The female driver of an SUV was transported to U.S. Naval Hospital Guam with minor injuries, and two adult male occupants of the third vehicle were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area while the Guam Police Department investigates. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
